About
My Yoga practice began in 2008. I was very curious about the different approaches to Yoga and went through a trial period of various styles. A friend lent me the book “Yoga, the Iyengar way” by the Mehta siblings, and from the beginning, I was very drawn to B.K.S. Iyengar's approach.
I began teaching Hatha Yoga in 2013, while continuing to attend different classes and explore various books. As the teaching adventure continued, I often found myself using Iyengar's books and videos of Iyengar Yoga teachers as a fundamental reference for my practice and for class preparation.
At that time, I lived in the countryside and there were no Iyengar Yoga teachers with whom I could study in the area, so I began to dream of how wonderful it would be to regularly attend an Iyengar Yoga school.
In 2016, Azul, our first child, was born, and then in 2019, his sister Lima arrived. Since their birth, I have focused on raising them and have continued with my Yoga practice.
We moved to Copenhagen on October 31, 2016, and on November 1, I took my first class at the B.K.S Iyengar Center Copenhagen. Since then, I have been very fortunate to have found my Yoga home and my teachers Jette Berring and Claus Wittig. I am very grateful for their valuable teachings and guidance over the years and for being able to continue learning from them. I feel very fortunate to attend classes at Yoga ved Søerne and to be part of a community of Yoga practitioners with so much love and dedication to the practice.
Since August 2022, I have been facilitating 2 weekly Yoga classes in the beautiful space at Yoga ved Søerne, and in 2025 I will take the Iyengar Yoga teacher certification exam.
I was born in Madrid and hold a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. I’ve been living in Denmark since 2012.
